Our list of institutional relationships includes nearly every institution, large and small, that invests in energy and commodities in a meaningful way. As a boutique firm, our model necessitates a somewhat specialized set of buy-side relationships, and we openly acknowledge that we do not wish to be "all things to all people." While we continue to expand our coverage universe and offerings, we are committed to not straying into new industries unless we can add significant value to our clients. Trading Like our Institutional Sales team, our trading personnel are educated in the fundamental aspects of the companies whose securities they trade and maintain active dialogues with every buy-side trading desk that traffics in our focus industries. Our Equity Trading desk captures a substantial percentage of order flow in our coverage stocks, and consistently provides our institutional clients superior trade execution. We will also readily put our capital to work for clients, helping to increase the depth of liquidity in the marketplace. Our Fixed Income trading desk complements our growing equity business.The group is actively involved in all aspects of below investment grade fixed income and private placements, focusing on research-driven trading.
